30 Apr Air Serv and AviaPal Consultant Partner to Expand Aviation Training in Eastern Africa
Entebbe, Uganda. Air Serv, a humanitarian air operator and Approved Training Organization (ATO) based in Entebbe, is proud to announce a new partnership with Uganda-based aviation consulting firm AviaPal Consultant, aimed at enhancing aviation safety and expanding training opportunities across eastern Africa. This collaboration builds on Air Serv’s Professional Development training program, which has been growing since its launch in 2022, and marks a significant step forward in strengthening the region’s aviation workforce.
Together, Air Serv and AviaPal are offering a suite of specialized training courses tailored to meet the evolving needs of aviation professionals operating in both commercial and humanitarian contexts. Courses cover a wide range of topics essential to safe and effective aviation operations, including safety and compliance, accident investigation, risk management, and hazardous material handling.
“AviaPal brings a deep understanding of regional needs and regulatory environments, while Air Serv offers decades of operational experience in challenging and remote environments,” said Danielle Payant, Director of Partnerships and Programs at Air Serv. “This partnership allows us to offer practical, high-impact training that prepares professionals for real-world aviation challenges.”
The collaboration reflects a shared vision to build local capacity, improve safety standards, and support the long-term development of aviation in a region where reliable air transport plays a critical role in both economic development and humanitarian access. With training designed for pilots, ground staff, and aviation managers alike, the program is open to individuals and organizations seeking to build or refine skills in key operational areas.
This partnership represents more than a training expansion—it’s an investment in the people who keep aircraft flying safely in some of the most logistically demanding environments in the world.
